Family Easter Sunday Egg Hunt At Epcot 2024
Easter is one of those holidays that is a little awkward for us in our family. So in our house we are christian of non-denominational and we do not have a heavy influence of religion in our life. For instance, Tiffany was raised non-denominational but her family converted to mormonism and my family was a mix of protestant and catholic and I picked up on the protestant side.
Later on around 2009, I tried Mormonism because I think I was trying to find what else was out there in the religious world and I enjoy learning new cultures, however Mormonism was not for me as I did not share the same beliefs and we left shortly after and Tiffany felt the same way. Now in 2024, occasionally on Sunday I do enjoy watching a video of a small church in Mount Carmel Pennsylvania a community I grew up in back when I lived in Pennsylvania. I enjoy seeing the elderly gentleman up there talking and it’s comforting but it’s not overly done instead it’s just really nice and I don’t know how else to explain it.
So this Easter we decided on doing something interesting, what we did was combined both of our enjoyments: Private family time, and Disney with Epcot. In the morning we let Lillian have family private time with her nana (Ryan’s Mom) and then we went out to Epcot and had a great day.
In the end, you need to learn balance in life. Too much of something can be poisonous to your spirit as well as too little. I will never judge anyone for their religious belief and when people ask me about Israel and Palestine, all I say is this started before my time and will continue after I am gone and I have no intelligent opinion as I am not knowledgeable to their society.
